As part of our learning on habitats, we had a visit from ‘Party Animals NI’ . We found out more about these animals and the adaptations they need to live in their habitats. We discovered that the chinchilla has extra hair follicles to cope with the cool temperatures of the high Andes. We learned about many interesting ways that these animals cope and survive. It was a really super learning experience.
