MAP is a 2-year school-based programme that has been shown, through previous research, to be effective in achieving its goals of helping pupils learn skills that help them to achieve better in school according to their potential. When applied to the targeted children in a structured and consistent manner, these strategies lead to enhanced school attendance, behaviour and academic outcomes.
