This morning in class we watched the opening scenes of The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy was whisked away by a tornado to the land of Oz.
Outside in the garden we made our own characters who we are going to use for our own whisked away by a tornado tale. We used junior hacksaws to cut lengths of wood and then whittled and decorated them to make characters.
