NI Water came to West Winds on Tuesday 20th January. They brought lots of interesting items to teach us about how they treat our water to make it safe. They taught us about how they clean our water so it is safe to drink, how baby wipes shouldn’t ever be flushed down the toilet - even if the label says they are flushable - as they can clog our drains and cause floods and how the water on Earth is as old as our planet is! They very kindly brought a water butt for us to use in school.
