On Tuesday 6th February, Primaries 3 and 4 journeyed back in time to 1945 at Castle Ward. We had an informative day learning about Margaret and John, two evacuee children at Castle Ward, discovering how inventive cooks were during wartime rationing, how Land Girls helped to 'dig for victory' and celebrate Master Edward's release from a POW camp with the staff. We had a busy but fun day on our trip.
