As part of our Bridges topic we are trying out some building challenges. Our first challenge was to make a beam bridge strong enough to hold a bible and in our second challenge we had to build the tallest tower possible that would stand all by itself. For both these tasks we were only allowed paper and masking tape so we had to try out different techniques to make them strong. Some of the results can be seen below.
Another challenge we tried was building with spaghetti and marshmallow. We found this very tricky as the spaghetti snapped really easily.
