Stephen Doherty from Ards Suicide Awareness group approached Mr Manogue with a gift of money to support well being in our school. We decided to organise a resilience programme for our P7 class with a practical nature.
We had an inschool session with Cormac Venney from hip psychology focusing on our strategies when facing challenge.
Today we headed to Bangor to put our new strategies into practice. Thanks to Iain at SUPHub NI all of our P7s were able to get their own paddleboard and head off around Bangor Marina. They were absolutely amazing and everyone had a ball!
