Today in school we celebrated World Book Day with a range of activities. The Key Stage 2 children wrote stories and shared these with the Key Stage 1 classes in our Paired Reading time. These books ranged from hand drawn illustrated books, word processed books to I-books.
Within classes we completed various activities such as making bookmarks, talking about our favourite books, listening and watching animated versions of classic stories and hunting school to find the hidden storybook characters.
A super day was had and we all were reminded what a special occasion it is to share a story.
